Sebastian Inlet Florida Beach Elopement | Sarah + Matthew

When Sarah and Matthew decided to tie the knot, they knew they wanted to elope (at the beach) and that it would be as unforgettable as their love. So they chose to exchange vows at sunrise, just the two of them, for a quiet and intimate Sebastian Inlet Florida elopement on the beach.

It was the most perfect image of a Florida morning with hues of cotton candy pink covering the sky as the sun rose above the ocean.

Planning Their Beach Elopement:

Sarah had reached out to me just a couple of weeks before we met. She said they were planning on eloping and then having a big party with their friends and family in South Carolina and they wanted the moment captured so they could send out “We Eloped” cards to everyone beforehand!

I instantly fell in love with their story, how they met and how much they loved one another. It was so obvious the two of them were just a match made in heaven.

Sarah and Matthew lived in Orlando and were going to be in the Treasure Coast the weekend we established would be their Elopement weekend. So we began planning out all the details.

She knew she wanted the beach, but also somewhere with some tall beach grass and most importantly, she wanted to capture their love for one another.

I came up with a few locations, sent them over along with some pictures to show them what these locations looked like. I highly encouraged them to think about sunrise seeing how they wanted it to be super intimate. Let’s just say Sarah was all in and trusted every one of my ideas/suggestions as their Florida Elopement Photographer. So a Sebastian Inlet Florida Beach was perfect for their Elopement option! It had everything and more that Sarah had envisioned for their morning and that’s where their story began!

How it Happened:

Sarah and Matthew met me on the side of the road just before the Sebastian Inlet State Park entrance just before sunrise. We found a cute (and hidden) beach entry that was perfect for what they wanted and imagined their morning being like.

It had just rained a few nights before, so needless to say Sarah and Matthew were troopers through Florida’s morning humidity.

Sarah and Matthew wasted no time kicking off their shoes and embracing the carefree spirit of their Florida beach elopement. Hand in hand, they ran along the shoreline, laughter filling the air as they chased seagulls and explored the sandy expanse.

As the sun climbed higher in the sky, Sarah and Matthew danced in its warm glow, their hearts overflowing with love and gratitude for this magical day. With the beauty of Florida surrounding them, they knew that their elopement was more than just a ceremony – it was a celebration of their love and the adventures that awaited them as husband and wife.
