The day began with Aixa and Axel preparing separately, building anticipation for their first look. I have so many couples who choose to do a first look before the wedding ceremony. Aixa and Axel chose to save their first look for when Aixa walked down the aisle. This moment was one of the most emotional parts of the day. As Aixa walked down the aisle, Axel’s reaction was so sweet, with him tearing up. It was a beautiful moment to witness the journey they were about to take together.

The ceremony was intimate, with close friends and family in attendance. The love and support for Aixa and Axel could be felt throughout the day! Following the ceremony, as we moved to capture some beautiful portraits, the couple shared a massive surprise with their guests, sharing that they were expecting their first baby! The announcement added an extra personal touch to their couple portraits. I was so glad they brought a sonogram so that I could take some sweet announcement photos during their portraits! The reception was held in The Royal Crest Room’s indoor space, and the day continued with good food and lots of dancing! The venue’s spacious ballroom was perfect for all of their guests!
